Can I get more bill?

I met an old friend from Engineering today in San Jose. He is here on site for a month or two. I met him up in his hotel room and from there we went to have lunch. I've asked him whether he had a burrito and he said no. So, I took him to my favourite burrito place 'Chiptole'. As soon as I started ordering stuff, he told me that already had this Chappathi roll thing before :). That's when I realized that I should have asked whether he had Mexican food before. Mexican is more generic term than a burrito and people would easily remember it.

After the burritos have been packed, I took the credit card out of my wallet and was about to pay. That's when I turned to my friend and asked him, does company pay for you? He mentioned that by default the company gives $50 per day for food. He also mentioned that if they have food in an expensive restaurant and the overall amount crosses $50, will get reimbursed on providing the receipt. (He already mentioned this to me before but I didn't remember. ) Since there is no advantage of my friend paying the bill, I went ahead and used my credit card for the payment.

As soon as I finished paying the bill, I grabbed both the burritos and started leaving. At the same time my friend grabbed both the water cups and asked the cashier 'Can I get more bill?' I was shocked at this moment and left soon asking my friend to leave without further questions. But he heeded my advice and continued asking the cashier same question again and again, 'Can I get more bill?' I was standing on the side and was getting worried. I was all prepared to say that I don't this person if the restaurant people would come and ask me. The total bill was less than $13 and this guy was asking for additional bills which would sum up to more than $50! Also, he didn't even pay the bill. Oh boyyyyyy!

I was about to sweat and started shouting at my friend, 'Dude come here!' My friend was still not hearing me and he moved close to the cashier, was standing beside her and trying to explain his 'concern' clearly. My nervousness was increasing every second and was about to lose my patience. At this moment my friend left the cashier came to me and said in a sad voice that the lady didn't understand what he was asking. I was extremely glad and very very relieved that she didn't understand the question. If she had, then I went to the Chipotle alone, had ordered two burritos just for myself and knew no one else around. OMG! That was scary.
